The Committee aims to achieve inter-institutional cooperation in the fields of research and experimental development and art activities, to coordinate the implementation of research and experimental development and art activities in the higher education institutions belonging to the LKDK; to represent the LKDK at the national and international level on issues related to research and experimental development and art activities, to expand the opportunities for the higher education institutions to take part in international research/art projects/events, and to take care of the improvement of the competence of researchers.
