The Conference of Directors of Lithuanian Higher Education Institutions (LKDK) officially opened its office in Kaunas. It is located on the premises of the Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Sciences, 35 Tvirtovės avenue.
A symbolic sign was unveiled during the opening, marking an important step in strengthening the cooperation between the higher education institutions.
“This office will become an important attraction for the higher education community and the whole academic society. It is a place where we will work together to create solutions for the future and promote breakthroughs in higher education,” says Dr Lina Girdauskienė, President of LKDK and Director of the Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Sciences.
The heads of Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Utena, Panevėžys, Šiauliai, Lithuanian Business, Lithuanian Engineering, Vilnius Business Colleges, and SMK Higher Education Institution attended the opening ceremony.
